Why?
The OAAC is a statewide organization. Normal avenues for fund raising are difficult if not impossible! We thought about having a virtual bake sale and selling calorie free virtual cookies, cakes and pies. We thought about a virtual car wash where you could wash your own car! Then we decided why not do what we do! A trivia tournament for everyone, parents, teachers, students of all ages!
A team may be one person or as many as you like. Remember - you'll have to split your winnings with everyone on the team!
This tournament will ask everything from Babe Ruth's batting average to how the force of gravity on the moon changes the speed of a bowling ball. It will be fun and your donation will help buy new technology and send Team Oklahoma '08 to the Panasonic Academic Challenge.
The entry fee is $20.00, but we will gratefully accept a larger donation if you are compelled! Additional information will be sent to the team captain. Fill out the entry form below and start recruiting your team. Please submit a separate enrollment form for each team. Click Submit to enroll. You will receive an e-mail confirmation within 24 hours of submission. Once your enrollment has been received an online ID and password will be issued and additional information will be sent to the team captain.
* A minimum of 50 teams is required to hold the tournament. If we do not meet that minimum, all entry fees will be returned and the tournament will be canceled.
If you don't have an interest in playing, but would like to contribute anyway...
