Tests:

1. The Primary, Elementary, Mid Level, JVHS and HS Humanities tests are all now open and ready to take.  They will be due on December 15.

2. The Mid Level, JVHS and HS Mathematicsts tests are now open.  They will be due on December 15.

Time:

1. The tests are all in one section.  You may leave your testing session.  The test will time out after 10 minutes of non-activity.  When you return to the test it will begin on the next question.  Time does not reset, you will receive only the remaining amount of time to complete the test.

2. At this time there is not an on screen clock. You may want to use either a stopwatch or timer to help your team stay on task.  ALCA is aware that we are wanting an online clock and is working to accommodate the request.

Results:

For these first two tests - there is not a test review when you complete the test.  You may go to the gradebook to see your score but the item by item analysis is not yet available.  ALCA is aware that we are wanting an online clock and is working to accommodate the request.

Practice tests:

There are Humanities tests online under the practice test tab.  The Mathematics practice tests will be under the practice test tab by ?? In the process of moving the test from the old server to the new - they've taken off into cyberspace without guidance -- we looked all last week - and finally gave up trying to locate the ones already there -- so we'll be putting the questions in again - this could take a day or two . I'm sorry for the delay - but there's absolutely nothing I can do to make it go faster.  The Real Test is there - so if you want to go without a practice test - you should do fine.

Why?

Some of you have asked why I switched from WebCT - since we had all finally figured it out how it worked!  We didn't have a choice.  We were using WebCT with Caddo Kiowa.  Caddo Kiowa moved to a different provider this year and we couldn't afford to stay as a stand alone client. (Thousands of dollars!)  So - we moved and we're plugging away!!

Send me feedback as you take the test.  Good Luck!
