4th Year (Modern) Mathematics ~ This test may only be taken once. If you qualify in a mathematics test you have already taken at the state level, you will take this test. If you have qualified in a mathematics area that we are not offering or that is of a lower level and you are an upper level student (eg. you qualify in Algebra I but you have taken upper level math classes) you will take this test. Seniors, if you ranked in the top 5 at the HSTOC level in a mathematics area but were not able to take a mathematics test at the regional level this year you may come back and take this test. May not be taken more than once at the HSTOC level.

4th Year Science ~ This test may only be taken once. If you qualify in a science test you have already taken at the state level, you will take this test. If you have qualified in a science area that we are not offering you will take this test. Seniors, if you ranked in the top 5 at the HSTOC level in a science area but were not able to take a science test at the regional level this year you may come back and take this test. May not be taken more than once at the HSTOC level.

Accounting ~ This test is for first year accounting students. May not be taken more than once at the HSTOC level. (If there are 10 or more Accounting II students wishing to test at the HSTOC we will add an Accounting II test.)

Agriculture Education ~ The test will cover all aspects of coursework for agriculture and agribusiness: animal science, plant science, soil science, and business. Calculators will be permitted/recommended. This test does not include questions over FFA. May not be taken more than once at the HSTOC level.

Algebra I ~ The test is only for 8th grade, freshman and sophomore students who have not taken geometry or Algebra II. May not be taken more than once at the HSTOC level.

Algebra II ~ This test will cover Algebra II and AP Algebra. May not be taken more than once at the HSTOC level.

American History ~ May not be taken more than once at the HSTOC level. See 4th Year Social Studies.

American Literature ~ The test will cover works, authors, forms and themes of American literature. May not be taken more than once at the HSTOC level.

Anatomy and Physiology ~ May not be taken more than once at the HSTOC level.

Art History/Terms ~ 40% of this test will cover the focus Humanities area. May not be taken more than once at the HSTOC level.

Biology I ~ The test is only for 8th grade, freshman and sophomore students who have not taken advanced biological science classes. May not be taken more than once at the HSTOC level.

Biology II ~ This test will cover Biology II and AP Biology. May not be taken more than once at the HSTOC level.

Business/General Business ~ This test will cover general business. May not be taken more than once at the HSTOC level.

Business Math ~ This test will cover Business Math. May not be taken more than once at the HSTOC level.

Calculus - May not be taken more than once at the HSTOC level.

Chemistry ~ This test will cover general or basic chemistry. May not be taken more than once at the HSTOC level.

Communication Skills (Speech) ~ Terms, topics, methods of communications and preparations for speech. NOT a performance competition. May not be taken more than once at the HSTOC level.

Computer Applications ~ software not programming May not be taken more than once at the HSTOC level.

Computer Science ~ programming not software applications. May not be taken more than once at the HSTOC level.

Current Events ~ The test will cover events between May 2, 2017 and May 1, 2018. Any student who qualifies to take any HSTOC test may take the Current Events test.

Drawing Competition ~ The test will be a drawing activity. A still life will be provided. Students will have two hours to complete the finished work.

Earth/Environmental Science ~ May not be taken more than once at the HSTOC level.

Economics ~ The test will cover general economics. May not be taken more than once at the HSTOC level.

English Literature ~ The test will cover works, authors, forms and themes of English literature. May not be taken more than once at the HSTOC level.

English Usage ~ The test will cover grammar and standard rules for written and spoken English. Each grade level will have a separate competition, 9th, 10th, 11th and 12th.

Family and Consumer Sciences ~ The test will cover all aspects of Family and Consumer Sciences coursework: Clothing and Textiles, Foods and Nutrition and Family Relations and Child Guidance. This test does not include questions about FCCLA. May not be taken more than once at the HSTOC level.

French I ~ will enroll in World Languages I. The test will be in the specified language. May not be taken more than once at the HSTOC level.

French II ~ will enroll in World Languages II. The test will be in the specified language. May not be taken more than once at the HSTOC level.

German I ~ will enroll in World Languages I. The test will be in the specified language. May not be taken more than once at the HSTOC level.

German II ~ will enroll in World Languages II. The test will be in the specified language. May not be taken more than once at the HSTOC level.

Geography ~ May not be taken more than once at the HSTOC level.

Geometry ~ The test is for students who have not taken upper level mathematics classes. May not be taken more than once at the HSTOC level.

Government/Civics ~ US government and citizenship. May not be taken more than once at the HSTOC level.

Music History/Theory ~ 30% of this test will cover the focus Humanities & Fine Arts period. May not be taken more than once at the HSTOC level.

Oklahoma History ~ May not be taken more than once at the HSTOC level.

Personal Finance ~ This exam covers material related to the personal finance class taught in high school. It includes: budgeting, taxes, banking, investing, loans, insurance, identity theft, retirement planning, mortgages and home buying. May not be taken more than once at the HSTOC level.

Physical Science ~ This test is only for students in 8th, 9th or 10th grade who have not had advanced science classes. May not be taken more than once at the HSTOC level.

Physics ~ May not be taken more than once at the HSTOC level.

Psychology ~ May not be taken more than once at the HSTOC level.

Scholar Test ~ There will be one scholar test over multiple subjects. Each scholar test will include questions from grade level language arts, math, science, social studies as well as current events, fine arts and humanities, vocabulary, literature, and pop culture. A separate competition per grade level Freshman Scholar, Sophomore Scholar, Junior Scholar, Senior Scholar
To qualify to take the Scholar test a student must have qualified to take at least 3 tests at the HSTOC.

Sociology ~ ~ This test will cover the basic principles of sociology. May be not be taken more than once at the HSTOC level.

Spanish I ~ This test is for non-native speaker students in Spanish I who have not had Spanish II or Advanced Spanish May not be taken more than once at the HSTOC level.

Spanish II ~ The test is for non-native speaker students. May not be taken more than once at the HSTOC level.

Spanish Native Speaker ~ This test is for native speakers. May not be taken more than once at the HSTOC level.

Technology/Tech Ed - This test will cover General Tech, Electrical, Mechanical, and Robotics. May not be taken more than once at the HSTOC level.

Trigonometry ~ May not be taken more than once at the HSTOC level.

Vocabulary ~ The test will cover definitions, root words, word origins, prefixes, suffixes, analogies.

World History ~ May not be taken more than once at the HSTOC level.

World Literature ~ This test will cover major works of World Literature. Open enrollment for juniors and seniors only.

World Languages I ~ French I or German I. The test will be in the specified language. May not be taken more than once at the HSTOC level.

World Languages II ~ French II or German II. The test will be in the specified language. May not be taken more than once at the HSTOC level.
